Our family homeplace is the perfect spot for your next family reunion or vacation.

The perfect combination of plenty of space to run and play and intimate spots for conversation, Villa Cathedral is a great place to hold your gathering.

Enjoy the quiet peacefulness of our country estate while enjoying access to modern conveniences like Wi-Fi. Large open fields are just begging to be used for softball games and other activities, while the more sedate guests kick back under the 100+ year old oak tree.

If you're looking for something really different, we also offer Retreats that are customized to your needs.

For those who want to stay overnight, Villa Cathedral has 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths; special accommodations can be made for additional beds in each bedroom for an additional fee. You can rent individual rooms or the full house.

If you prefer a more rustic setting for your activities, Merrybrook Cottage at Villa Cathedral is just the place! Located on our private lake that's stocked with largemouth bass and sunfish, you can fish right there at the cottage. The cottage has 3 bedrooms with 2 baths and sleeps 5 comfortably.

Merrybrook is a great spot to bring kids who don't often get to play freely in the country, and the beauty of the lake lets them appreciate our native wildlife.

The quiet, private peacefulness gives adults the opportunity to truly unwind and forget about everyday worries. This is one old-fashioned vacation experience that everyone is sure to remember.

If your reunion spans several days, there's plenty of things to do within a short drive for those who want to explore. From Virginia International Raceway to state parks, lakes, museums, galleries, and dining, there's something for everyone.
